IB Diploma core

In the IB Diploma Programme, students take six IB subjects, complete internal assessments and meet the core requirements: CAS, TOK and the Extended Essay. They graduate with both the International Baccalaureate Diploma and the high school diploma awarded by the Ministry of Education of Panama, choosing subject options focused on either business or science.

  • CAS - Creativity, Activity, Service

  • EE  - Extended Essay
In the Extended Essay, students carry out an independent research project on a topic that interests them. With guidance from a supervisor, they practice rigorous research, organize ideas, think critically and communicate in academic writing - key skills for university study.
